Dollard-des-Ormeaux is reducing lawnmower or leaf blower hours this summer. The city noted that in order to improve peace and quality of life, its harassment ordinance has changed to address nuisance from landscaping equipment. Starting this summer, the use of lawn mowers, leaf blowers or similar mechanical, pneumatic or electrical devices is prohibited on weekdays between 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. and on weekends and public holidays between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m.
