MOUNT STERLING — Brown County-headquartered Dot Foods said Wednesday that one of its subsidiaries, Dot Foods Canada, will be building a $39 million distribution center in Ontario, Canada.
Construction of the 126,500-square-foot distribution center is expected to be completed in time for it to open next year.
Dot Foods established operations in Canada in 2016 with the purchase of food redistributor Marketwest and set up distribution centers in Calgary, Alberta and Brampton, Ontario. Once the facility is complete, it will replace operations at the Brampton location.
